1.0 General
1.1 The Residential Steam Bath generator shall be a mr.steam® Model MS Residential using industrial grade components.
1.2 The generator shall be manufactured in the United States, comply with and bear the listing of cUL, City of Los Angeles, and CE.
1.3 The generator shall be wired to cUL, National Electrical Code with provisions for field grounding.
1.4 The generator shall be manufactured with only a unitized construction stainless steel reservoir (no double tanks) with a field serviceable 0.430 inch diameter, 0.035 inch wall thickness heating element assembly.
1.5 The generator shall be supplied with keyed modular snap-in connections requiring no field wiring between the MS electronic control and the steam generator.
1.6 The generator shall be supplied with an electronic and automatic (not mechanical) water-level control, which shall operate on low voltage with a 60-minute maximum electronic countdown and an independent built-in cUL tested and approved 75-minute limiting safety back up.
1.7 The generator shall be provided standard with a full-port drain valve.
1.8 The generator shall be equipped standard with an ASME pressure valve rated at 15 PSIG.
1.9 The generator shall be equipped with an in-shower TEMPO™ series control and shall operate on a low voltagecontrol circuit with a digital display readout.
1.10 The generator shall be provided standard with a matched finish AromaSteam™ steamhead.
1.11 The generator shall be provided standard with a 24-volt internally developed UL listed class 2 low-voltage energy limited transformer for operation of all controls and control circuits.
1.12 The generator shall have no portion of the wet side heating element sheath exposed to steam.
1.13 The generator may be equipped with an optional mr.steam® AutoFlush® system with an electronic timer and motorized valve (solenoid valve not permitted) that drains the stainless steel tank automatically after each steam bath operation, keeping the tank dry until the next use.
